Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15 1996 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the record label Decca Records in May 2015 getting great reviews from music bloggers and the press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are two of her best-known songs. Katy Perry posted a video where she was announcing her endorsement of Runaway. This brought her some recognition. Make it a special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding the piano in her attic, then becoming enthralled by the sound it made. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to pursue music for the sake of personal development, and not as a way of earning money or to pursue as a hobby. As a result, she began to write songs of her own. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her most favored writers. When her mother said that her songs would not just help her achieve fame and also inspire others to see their importance to the world and appreciate what can be done with her songs and her music, she was inspired to start performing publicly. She was suggested by her mother to be able to perform her music publicly in order to help people realize the importance of their work and how they impact the world. It wasn't until her 14th birthday when she shared her story with her parents. Aurora was not a dream of her childhood. Aurora says she loves to compose music. According to her, she believes that music can help anyone feel better.
