Katarina is a native of Staaken on the 3rd December 1965. Her constant search for challenges leads her to explore new areas of work and gain experience across various fields, including acting, writing, producing, presenting and figure skating. After 1998's World Championships Katarina Witt ends her highly successful career as an amateur to the present. The tour she co-headlines is her first as a professional Canada and the US for the next three years along alongside World Champion Brian Boitano. She made her third Olympic Games appearance in Lillehammer was held in the year 1994.
